VACANCY RESEARCH ASSISTANT/ Masters or PhD STUDENT In UMPEDAC
 
Job Description
We are looking for research assistants to join a team of enthusiastic researchers to design, build and analyze power converter for photovoltaic system. Our research interests also include:
Power electronics
Renewable energy
Electric drives
Control system and automation
 
Our research group consists of members from many countries. Our centre has collaboration with many expertises in the world. Successful candidates will be assisting with research activities including literature review, study design, data collection, data analyses and publication of studies, as well as assisting researchers with administration. There will be opportunities to pursue Masters or PhD studies.

Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre, University of Malaya (UMPEDAC)
 
Employment Type and Duration:
Contract, up to 3 years

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, electrical power engineering, electronics, mechatronics
2. Able to work full time
3. Fluent in written and spoken English.
4. Proactive and able to carry out research independently
5. Ability to work as part of a team while having good personal drive and initiative.
6. Strong reporting and documentation skills
