To enter LA JOIE DE MONTREAL International Summer School Contest, contestants must register online at JoieDeMontreal.ca and create their Dream Summer Profile. Only those profiles who have received votes (by someone 'liking' their profile) will have ballots entered into the contest.

No purchase required.

ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to participants who access the contest website and who are eighteen (18) years of age or more at the time of entering the contest. The International Summer School Contest is not open to Quebec residents.

PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES

The winning profile will be randomly selected by an independent party on February 4, 2011, from all of the ballots entered into the contest. The contest winner will be announced on the LA JOIE DE MONTREAL Facebook Page, the LA JOIE DE MONTREAL Twitter Account, and contacted by the email address provided during the contest registration.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE

One fully paid scholarship will be awarded to the winning participant.

The prize consists of:

Course tuition
Books and course materials
Residence at Concordia University
Return airfare to and from Montréal
The total value of the prize is approximately $8,000 in Canadian dollars.

GENERAL RULES

The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.
If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Concordia University School of Extended Learning, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.
Refusal to accept the prize releases Concordia University School of Extended Learning and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, of any obligation toward the winner.
All personal information, such as your name and e-mail is collected for the purposes of administering this contest and may be used to send you promotional materials promoting the Summer School. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for the stated purposes.
The deadline for registering into the 2011 International Summer School is March 1, 2011.
Concordia University reserves the right to cancel courses in the 2011 International Summer School program if an insufficient number of students register in any given course. Travel arrangements should not be made prior to the registration deadline of March 1, 2011. Concordia University will not be held responsible for personal costs incurred in the event that courses are cancelled. The applicant’s signature of agreement to this effect will be requested on the Registration Form.
By entering, contestants agree to abide by the contest rules which shall be applied by Concordia University School of Extended Learning. All its decisions are final.
Registering for our contest multiple times using different email addresses will disqualify you from the contest.

A couple of people asked how the voting actually works, so here's a quick explanation:
The votes are like ballots for a draw. For example if you have 1000 votes it's like having 1000 entries in the contest, or in other words having your name in the box 1000 times. So the more votes you have the better your chances of your name being picked randomly when we do the draw.
