\int sin (x) dx\ = -cos (x) + C

Hmm... I'm not sure I understand your question subikar. It depends on which variable you use as the symbol of integration.

\int sin(x^o)dx\ or \int sin(x^o)d(x^o)\

The first integral will lead you to integration by parts :

\int u dv\b=uv-v\int vdu\\

where u and v are different fuctions.
While the second equation are just the same as my previous post.
