Research interests:

Health Informatics Lab (HILab) focuses on the data mining algorithms for the biomedical big data. Specifically, we are interested in developing efficient feature selection and prediction algorithms for the high-dimensional biomedical data.

Biological OMIC data include transcriptomes, methylomes, proteomes, and genomes, etc.
Clinical blood test generates biochemical molecular measurements, and reflects a patient's current health status.
Biomedical imaging data, including both the traditional 2D imaging data and high-dimensional imaging data.
Physiological data, including ECG and EEG, shows the real-time status of human body. The noise and hidden pattern are the major challenges for computational modeling.
