The Churchwood Trust group of companies has a vacany for a project scientist.

The group designs and manufactures Infrared/THz Instrumentation with applications in cosmology, astronomy, atmospheric remote sensing, plasma fusion diagnostics, materials measurement and a range of spectroscopic techniques. See [pranala luar disembunyikan, sila masuk atau daftar.].

Cardiff based 20 to 25K + Pension

You have studied physical sciences to degree level and you probably also completed a PhD. You have experience working in a clean room environment, and you are skilled in techniques such as UV and electron lithography, thin-film deposition, RF and DC sputtering and Reactive Ion Etching. You are able to work both on your own and as part of a small team. You will need to demonstrate excellent scientific, laboratory and clean-room skills.

This post is a full-time permanent position. We require people with drive, initiative and versatility. Good verbal and written communications skills are essential. Previous commercial experience will also be an advantage. Enthusiasm and an ability to get on with a wide range of people will be vital.
